Hand sketches... with thumbs attached
And here are the hand sketches. They're drawn using a book by one George B. Bridgman, an artist, and master of anatomy. Who is also dead. Death aside, his books are really great for learning anatomy which is extremely important. It includes skeletal structure, muscles, and uses for every single part on the human body ( well, minus a few I guess : / ) .
Oh and as a sort of easter egg, or if you're really bored or something... see if you can spot something strange in the sketches on the second page.
Read or Post a Comment
the irony would be if they dug up his body to learn how to draw it. like in the good 'ol day.
p.s. that's a mighty fine miny hand on page two.
that would be just gross, andy.
something strange...i found it i think
aw man your so good at art phil, it's craazy
thanks eska.
and I'll give you guys a hint since it's apparently not obvious enough. it has to do with the BOTTOM RIGHT hand on the second picture.
um. the hand only has four fingers? heh.
this reminds me of grade nine art...sketching hands wih our opposite hand.
Aye, tara wins the prize. for some reason the master of anatomy forgot a finger in one of his sketches.
and yeah now that I think about it, it kind of does remind me of grade nine art.
a simpler time when we would only have one thing to do at a time instead of like 500 projects at once...
