In the Darker Side of Town

This is proabaly a bit late but... On the service trip there was this one guy that Jonathan, John, and myself met named Michael MacKenzie, (I think that's what he said his name was, correct me if I'm wrong guys :S ) he was lying down in the grass when we met him. So today while I was thinking of the trip and how I'm no good at that phylisophical/thought-provoking writing stuff, I thought I would try and draw something that I remembered from it instead. I can't remember exactly what he looked like, but this is as best as I could picture him.

For anyone who's curious I did this in black ball-point pen and grey markers (which apparently turn a purple-y colour when used over pen).

Phil this must become a sketch blog because they're all so amazing! I'm very jealous of your talent. I never knew you were so good at art!
...and you guys did meet some pretty awesome people on that trip.

i like it. esp. the size and shape of the mouth.
story:jonathan and i saw this most amazing girl/lady at the last place we were at on the serve trip. we both said we have to remember her face and her dress and whatever....and whats freaky is..i can actually still picture her in the same three poses i took of her on my mental camera.

actually there is a delete comment option. it appears in the form of a little grey garbage can under your post.

jonathan:

it was blue and it was made of 'satin'. (fake satin..but it was shiny) and she had on what looked like a hospital shirt underneath. the dress had spaghetti straps...and it was dragging on the floor.
if you do end up drawing her...show me...we can 'exchange notes'. i wanna draw her too...i just havent gotten around to it yet. hehe. maybe we can stick her into our environmental thing. hehe;)

tarajoy! jonathan! now I remember her! the girl with the blue dress I mean. I need to see that drawing too, Jonathan. Her hair was the craziest hair I'd ever seen. It was huuuge! I totally forgot about her until tara mentioned the blue dress dragging on the floor...don't ask me why.
